<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p><p><b>Role Description:</b><br /></p><ul><li>Reporting directly to the IT Services Manager, the ABAP Cloud Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and efficient solutions within the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), with a focus on ABAP Cloud development.<br /></li><li>This role supports the organization’s digital transformation initiatives by delivering high-quality, cloud-ready applications that align with business requirements and SAP best practices.<br /></li><li>The developer collaborates closely with functional teams, business analysts, and other technical staff to ensure seamless integration, performance optimization, and continuous improvement of SAP systems.<br /></li></ul><p><br /></p><br />Requirements<p><b>Skill <span >Requirements/Qualifications:</span></b><br /></p><p>The Resource <b>must </b>have the following minimum qualifications or experience:<br /></p><ul><li>Experience and proficiency using Microsoft Office (i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook, TEAMS).<br /></li><li>Experience with SAP S/4 HANA, ECC, and other SAP modules.<br /></li><li>Proficiency in ABAP, RAP, and CDS views.<br /></li><li>Experience with SAP BTP, CAP, SAP Fiori/UI5 and SAP Business Application Studio.<br /></li><li>Strong understanding of SAP CPI, APIs (REST, SOAP), IDocs.<br /></li><li>Experience with Git, gCTS, transport management, CI/CD pipelines, and Cloud ALM.<br /></li><li>Skills in building CDS analytical views, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), and using embedded analytics in S/4HANA.<br /></li><li>Minimum 5 years in similar role.<br /></li><li>A post-secondary degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Management Information Systems, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered.<br /></li><li>Excellent problem-solving <span >skills/troubleshoot</span> with keen attention to detail.<br /></li><li>Strong communication skills with ability to communicate clearly both verbally and written.<br /></li><li>Demonstrated interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse teams: build and maintain positive relationships with co-workers, direct reports, and stakeholders.<br /></li><li>Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.<br /></li><li>Experience working in a public sector environment.<br /></li></ul><p><b> </b><br /></p><p><b>Preferred Qualifications or Experience:</b><br /></p><ul><li>Experience working on large ERP programs<br /></li><li>Experience converting from SAP ECC to SAP S/4 HANA<br /></li><li>Familiarity with SAP implementation methodology<br /></li><li>Familiarity with Project Management methodologies, particularly Hybrid Agile<br /></li><li>Experience working with large System Integrator teams<br /></li></ul><p><br /></p><br /></p></p>
