<p><h3>Job Description</h3>
<p>The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA)-Saskatoon and the University of Saskatchewan, Department of Psychiatry, seek an adult psychiatrist to provide temporary support to the Early Psychosis Intervention Program (EPIP) for up to one year (January 2025 to December 2025). This position involves working closely with EPIP team members—including community mental health nurses, recreational therapists, occupational therapists, social workers, and psychologists—to provide collaborative and optimal patient care to individuals with severe and persistent mental illness who are referred to the EPIP. Responsibilities include attending weekly meetings, coordinating with team members, and providing direct patient care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.</p>
<h3>Position Details</h3>
<ul>
<li>Blended fee‑for‑service (FFS) and contract funding.</li>
<li>Up to 69 contract sessions (1 session = 4 hours) are available (equivalent to 1.5 sessions per week for 46 weeks). Expected commitment is 2–3 days per week dedicated to EPIP (FFS and contract).</li>
</ul>
<p><b>Compensation Details:</b> $926 per session stipend plus fee for service.</p>
<p><b>Location of practice:</b> Saskatoon</p>
<p><b>Language of work:</b> English</p>
<h3>Job Qualifications</h3>
<p>Successful candidates will hold certification or be eligible for certification with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in psychiatry. In addition, candidates must be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan.</p>
