<p>Job DescriptionWhat will be your daily pursuit?:\nYour daily pursuit is guiding and motivating your team to deliver exceptional guest service, ensuring every guest has an unforgettable dining experience. \n\nWhat will your compensation be?:\nThe starting salary for this position is dependent on experience.\n\nWhat perks can you expect?:\nJoin an inclusive, global team and make life-long connections. Enjoy free access to Pursuit attractions and 50% off for friends. Get discounts on hotel stays, dining, and retail. Access subsidized mental health and wellness resources. \n\nWhat will you do in this job?:\nThe Assistant Manager ensures the smooth running of the day-to-day operations for the hotel restaurant and special events, including banquets.Supervise staff and ensure that customer expectations are exceeded at all timesKeep the food and beverage areas clean and maintain exemplary food hygiene practicesAssist with recruitment, training, and management of staffAssist with inventory management; oversee proper unpacking of weekly orders, ensuring storage locations are neat and tidy at all times and part of the monthly counting ensuring accuracy and attention to detailAble to address customer complaints or issues, and resolve matters as expediently as possibleOversee food storage and dining areas, ensuring that the facility remains in compliance with safety regulation and health codesAssist with cocktail creation and menu development. Let your passion shine!Lead and execute weddings, conferences and signature events; ensure that no detail is missed and the event is delivered flawlesslyDaily billing and financial responsibilities to be completed accurately and efficientlyA leader in daily communication on guest feedback, employee performance and notes from the days shift\n\nWhat skills and experience do you need for this job?:\nFlexible to work various shifts (early mornings, late evenings, weekends, split shifts)Excellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenBasic computer skillsHighly organized individual with the ability to handle numerous tasks at one timeStrong proven leadership qualities and management skillsDegree in Hotel/Restaurant Management or related discipline is a strong asset2 years' in a hotel or restaurant industry, including at least 1 year in a supervisory positionWorking knowledge of MICROS or similar P.O.S. system is an assetAbility to obtain and/or maintain any government required licenses, certificates or permits\n\nWhat will your work environment be like?:\nBeautiful. You’ll be working in the iconic, unforgettable and inspiring location. Regardless of what your role is with us, you’ll really get the chance to explore and see amazing scenery and wildlife within the Canadian Rockies. Fun. You'll be meeting team members from across the globe and get to participate in tons of team events. Independent. You’ll spend your days in and around our amazing properties.   Remote.
