Overview
As an automation professional, the desired applicant will share MPE’s vision to provide industry-leading services to our clients throughout Saskatchewan and Western Canada. The position primarily focuses on PLC and SCADA programming, commissioning, and networking configurations; however, a diverse background in automation and control system planning, design, control narrative generation, troubleshooting, and maintenance is also required.

Responsibilities
- PLC and SCADA programming, commissioning, and networking configurations
- Automation and control system planning, design, control narrative generation, troubleshooting, and maintenance
Mandatory Qualifications
- Programming experience with a variety of automation software and hardware
- Willingness to travel to support maintenance and commissioning tasks
- Availability for PLC, SCADA Systems, and related communications emergency support
- Diploma or Degree in an electrical or automation-related program from an accredited post-secondary institution
Preferred Qualifications
- Licensed or eligible for licensing or certification with APEGS/TPSK
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
- Background in electrical & instrumentation systems
- Experience with municipal & industrial process systems
- Experience with industrial networking & cybersecurity
- Experience working as a member of a multidisciplinary engineering team
Minimum of two years of combined experience in positions related to the above preference and mandatory qualifications.
