Are you looking for a role that provides challenge, growth, and developmental opportunities? <strong><em>Take the leap and make your mark at Plan Group.</em></strong></p><p>The Billing Manager – Project Billing oversees the end-to-end billing process for project-based work, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely invoicing. This role manages a team of billing administrators, collaborates with project and finance teams, and drives process improvements to support financial performance and client satisfaction.</p><p>As a <strong>Billing Manager</strong>, you will:</p><ul><li>Prepare and issue invoices based on project milestones, time & materials, or fixed-fee arrangements</li><li>Use Salesforce to issue pay applications to clients as agreed and Microsoft D 365, and update end to end details in client portal</li><li>Maintain accurate billing records and project cost allocations</li><li>Code invoices to appropriate GL accounts and project numbers</li><li>Coordinate with project managers to validate billing data and ensure alignment with contracts</li><li>Manage markup/rates on billings</li><li>Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding payments</li><li>Reconcile billing discrepancies between Salesforce and Microsoft D 365 and resolve client inquiries</li><li>Generate billing reports for internal and external stakeholders</li><li>Conduct monthly reconciliations, analysis, and reports</li><li>Ensure compliance with company policies and client agreements</li><li>Assist in developing and implementing billing policies and procedures</li><li>Other administrative and project related tasks as assigned</li><li>Team Leadership :<ul><li>Lead, mentor, and develop a team of billing administrators.</li><li>Assign workloads, set performance goals, and conduct regular reviews.</li><li>Provide training on billing systems, policies, and best practices.</li></ul></li></ul><p><strong>Our ideal candidate has:</strong></p><ul><li>5 plus years of experience in a similar role</li><li>Basic understanding of accounting (debits/credits)</li><li>Experience in a similar environment would be an asset</li><li>Advanced knowledge of Microsoft D 365, and Microsoft Office specifically Excel</li><li>Knowledge of Salesforce software an asset</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication</li><li>Excellent analytical, time management and organization skills</li><li>Superior attention to detail</li><li>Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills</li><li>Ability to handle strict deadlines and work under pressure</li><li>Professional, responsive, and positive work attitude</li><li>High respect for confidentiality and a high level of sound and independent judgement, reasoning, and discretion</li></ul></p></p>Create Your Resume First
