<h3>What You’ll Be Doing</h3>
<ul>
<li>Lead, support, and coach your team to create a positive, high‑performing, and engaged branch culture.</li>
<li>Drive collaboration, accountability, customer focus, and safety in alignment with company values.</li>
<li>Oversee and direct daily branch operations to ensure efficiency, service consistency, and an exceptional customer experience.</li>
<li>Identify and analyze customers’ pump and power needs, and present appropriate pump or electrical system designs and equipment solutions.</li>
<li>Champion Cooper’s safety culture and ensure compliance with all policies and regulations.</li>
<li>Partner with the People and Culture Team on hiring, onboarding, performance management, and employee development.</li>
<li>Build and maintain strong customer relationships.</li>
<li>Oversee inventory and fleet utilization, ensuring equipment is rental ready through effective shop flow; recommend fleet adjustments as needed.</li>
<li>Manage branch financials, including budgets and monthly P&Ls.</li>
<li>Collaborate with the team at your branch and across departments to drive solutions, streamline processes, and support company‑wide goals.</li>
<li>Stay current on market trends and competitor activity, adjusting strategies to remain competitive.</li>
<li>Represent the company by attending industry events, networking, and promoting the brand.</li>
</ul>
<h3>Qualifications And Requirements</h3>
<ul>
<li>Valid Class G driver’s license with a clean or satisfactory driver’s abstract (no more than three demerit points); a copy of your updated abstract will be required upon request.</li>
<li>Minimum of 6 years of experience in a similar role (preferably in construction equipment rentals, infrastructure construction, utilities, pump and power equipment rentals or sales, or a closely related field), plus at least 2 years of experience leading a team.</li>
<li>Post‑secondary education in business or a related field (or equivalent relevant work experience).</li>
<li>Specialized technical knowledge of pump equipment and/or power generation equipment is preferred (including but not limited to diesel‑powered generators and diesel and electric dewatering and sewage pumps of various voltages).</li>
<li>Understanding of rental fleet management and the construction/equipment rental industry is an asset.</li>
<li>Excellent negotiation and customer relationship management skills.</li>
<li>Excellent communication skills (verbal and written); able to interact professionally with customers, drivers, service technicians, and sales staff.</li>
<li>Strong leadership and team management skills; leads with honesty, earns trust, and always does the right thing — even when no one’s watching.</li>
<li>Must be very flexible and able to manage multiple priorities, shifting gears as needed in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.</li>
<li>Excellent problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities, and able to stay professional and calm under pressure.</li>
<li>Strong business sense, with experience managing budgets, reviewing P&Ls, and planning for growth.</li>
<li>Confident using tools like Excel and Word; PowerBI knowledge is a bonus. Systematics experience is also an asset.</li>
