<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p>Job Title: Buyer/Planner<br /> Location: Oakville, ON <br /> 12 month renewable contract<br /> 5 days onsite <br /> Postal Code: L6L<br /> Area codes: 647, 437, 416<br /> Keywords: #buyerjobs #aerospacejobs #procurementjobs<br><br> As a Buyer/Planner you will be:<br><br> *Ensuring uninterrupted flow of material to support manufacturing and customer OTD<br /> *Reviewing purchase requisitions against the master production schedule to validate demand<br /> *Creating P.O. in accordance with requisitions and contractual requirements<br /> *Expediting material as needed; negotiating and working changes within supply base through the Change Board process<br /> *Ensuring inventory goals and objectives are met<br /> *Negotiating with suppliers as required for reschedules in support of inventory and business objectives<br /> *Supporting the Supply Chain Sales and Inventory Planning (SIOP) process<br /> *Assisting the Supplier Performance evaluation process<br /> *Interfacing with Supplier Quality personnel to ensure supplier performance<br /> *Getting supplier confirmations and update SAP with commit/return dates<br /> *Working closely with logistics team to develop standard process of ensuring parts are shipped/received in timely manners<br><br> Education and Experience:<br><br> *3+ years experience in supply chain, preferably in the aerospace industry<br /> *University Bachelor"s Degree<br><br> Knowledge and Skills: <br><br> *Understanding of the Supply Chain Sales, Inventory and Planning (SIOP) process<br /> *Expertise in MRP systems, preferably SAP with understanding of Procurement parameters and usage<br /> *Can identify risks that affect supply and delivery<br /> *Understands the basic tools in project management (SOW, WBS, responsibility matrix, change management, resource management, scheduling) to follow up supplier deliverables<br /> *Effectively uses root cause analysis for problem solving<br /> *Demonstrates excellent communication skills (verbal & written)<br><br></p></p>Create Your Resume First
