Job Summary
We are seeking a CMS Platform Architect / CMS Solutions Architect & Lead Developer to lead enterprise-wide design, governance, and optimization of our Contentful-based CMS platform. You will serve as the primary technical expert, ensuring scalability, performance, and alignment with business and regulatory goals across digital channels.
Responsibilities
- Lead development and customization of CMS platforms, ensuring code quality and maintainability.
- Oversee front-end and back-end development teams, promoting best practices.
- Deliver robust API development and integrations.
Performance Optimization
- Monitor and improve CMS performance, user adoption, and workflow efficiency.
- Execute migrations and scalability improvements.
- Lead optimization of front-end speed, responsiveness, and core web vitals.
CMS Architecture & Governance
- Architect and implement enterprise-grade CMS solutions.
- Define technical roadmaps, governance structures, and system standards.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Act as CMS project technical lead, mentoring developers and guiding architecture.
- Work with UX / UI teams to deliver user-centric financial service journeys.
- Align CMS tech with content strategy and user experience goals.
Security, Compliance & Risk
- Integrate security best practices to safeguard sensitive customer and financial data.
Required Experience
- 8-12+ years in web / app engineering
- 4-6+ years leading headless CMS programs
- 3-5+ years with Contentful (spaces, roles, workflows, webhooks, app framework)
- Background in regulated financial services (audit, change control)
Nice-to-Have Experience
- Experience mentoring CMS developers and defining governance in large orgs
- Involvement in platform migrations or digital transformation efforts
