Our priority is to make sure we hire professional customer service representatives that care about the safety of our drivers and the service provided to the community. As a Dispatcher with us, your key responsibilities will include:
Coordinate and manage driver routes and schedules to ensure timely and efficient commercial waste collection across multiple service lines.
Monitor daily driver progress, provide real-time updates and route adjustments, and resolve service-related issues to maintain high standards.
Communicate effectively with drivers, internal teams, and customers via phone and email to address inquiries, concerns, and special service requests.
Oversee route planning and major geographic changes within the Trux operating system, including daily route closing and maintenance.
Collaborate with operations and field teams to optimize service delivery, safety, and customer satisfaction.
Track fleet performance and ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
Respond to customer inquiries and service disruptions, ensuring prompt resolution and maintaining positive relationships.
Support a team-oriented environment, working closely with seven operations staff and a field team of 30+ drivers to drive continuous improvement.
**What We Need from our Dispatcher:**
1+ years of experience in a high-volume dispatch or logistics environment.
Strong multitasking skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced setting.
Experience with dispatching software and Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
