The employer provides transportation when the job site is outside of the City of Edmonton.<br /></p><p>Wage:<br />$41.58- $46/hour (based on experience; salary increases as per Company policy); performance bonus per company policy.</p><p>Employment terms and conditions: Permanent, Full-Time, 40 to 60 hours/week (weather-dependent), Morning, Day, Weekend, Overtime</p><p>Benefits: Health benefits (medical, dental, and vision), Living allowance for out-of-town work<br /></p><p>Vacancies: 10<br /></p><p>Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible</p><p></p><p>Job Requirements</p><p>Language: English<br /></p><p>Experience: 3 years of related experience<br /></p><p>Work Setting: Underground Infrastructure construction which includes storm, sanitary, and water mains within municipal, commercial, or residential land development projects.</p><p>Ability to Supervise: 510 people<br /></p><p>Construction Specialization: Municipal, commercial or residential deep underground utilities (storm, sanitary, and water systems).<br /></p><p>Work Site Environment: Outdoors, Underground, Confined spaces, Dangerous, Dusty</p><p>Work conditions and physical capabilities:<br />Fast-paced environment, Physically demanding, Attention to detail, Tight deadlines, Repetitive tasks, Manual dexterity, Work under pressure, Handling heavy loads (Up to 23 kg (50 lbs))<br /></p><p>Personal suitability: Efficient interpersonal skills, Flexibility, Reliability, Team player, Dependability, Judgement</p><p>Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots</p><p>Security and safety: Must comply with the companys drug and alcohol testing requirements</p><p></p><p>Main Duties</p><ul><li>Supervise, coordinate, and schedule the activities of underground crews, including operators and pipelayers, working on municipal, commercial or residential water, sanitary, and storm systems.</li></ul><ul><li>Train and mentor employees.</li></ul><ul><li>Inspect trench depth, grade, and alignment to verify accuracy.</li></ul><ul><li>Monitor work progress to maintain productivity, quality, and adherence to project specifications.</li></ul><ul><li>Know, understand, and ensure compliance with safety regulations</li></ul><ul><li>Know, understand, and follow all company rules, policies, and procedures.</li><li>May perform the duties of those supervised.</li></ul><p><br /></p><p>Veterans, visible minorities, Indigenous people, and newcomers to Canada are encouraged to apply.</p></p></p>Create Your Resume First
