Combining a deep systems knowledge to develop unique vehicle access experiences, intelligent visions systems and advanced automotive lighting technologies, MML&#39;s expertise light the path to innovation, safety and styling.<br><br>Job Responsibilities:<br><br><ul><li>Manages accounting activities at Autosystems, including maintaining the chart of accounts and interfacing and posting the general ledger</li><li>Leads month end closing processing</li><li>Performs weekly / monthly Scrap & Efficiency reporting and inventory reconciliation</li><li>Completes weekly expense tracking and forecasting, accounts payable/receivable forecasting, and assists in the <span >weekly/monthly/quarterly</span> budget/forecasting process</li><li>Maintains regular communications and interactions with all levels of management regarding financial matters</li><li>Other duties as assigned</li></ul><br />Qualifications<br><br><ul><li>University degree in Finance related field (Business Administration or Commerce) required</li><li>Professional accounting designation or near completion (CPA) required</li><li>3 - 5 years Accounting Experience required, preferably within the Automotive Industry</li><li>Experience in a supervisory role an asset</li><li>Understanding of general accounting and account reconciliation principles required</li><li>Demonstrated proficiency in MS Word, Excel required; Strong knowledge of Excel formulas considered an asset</li><li>Able to work flexible hours and varied start/end times</li></ul><br />What We Offer<br><br><ul><li>Competitive extended health benefits</li><li>Group RRSP matching program</li><li>Profit Sharing Plan</li><li>Team appreciation lunches and events</li><li>Education Reimbursement Program</li></ul><br />Awareness, Unity, Empowerment:<br><br>At Magna, we believe that a diverse workforce is critical to our success.
