<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p><p><strong>Shipper & Receiver with counterbalance Experience </strong></p><p><strong>Oakville, ON</strong><br /><strong>Monday to Friday</strong><br /><strong>Starting at $21- $24</strong></p><p>We are seeking a <strong>Shipper & Receiver</strong> to join our Warehouse Team. This individual will play an integral role in ensuring that products are received, inspected, verified, stored, and transported in a safe and efficient manner.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Operate a variety of equipment to load, unload, and move products</li><li>Pick orders and stock items from the warehouse</li><li>Label and stack products properly</li><li>Maintain and organize inventory using a computerized system</li><li>Work efficiently to meet daily workload deadlines</li><li>Arrange shipping methods and prepare required shipping documentation</li><li>Package orders/goods securely to prevent transit damage</li><li>Obtain freight quotes for various shipping needs</li><li>Record product movement and maintain warehouse supplies & equipment</li><li>Track and coordinate with carriers to confirm delivery details (on-time, delays, damages)</li><li>Maintain a strong record of attendance</li></ul><p><strong>Skill Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>Experience with material-handling equipment (dollies, pump trucks, strapping machines, pallet lifters, industrial lift trucks, forklifts, bar code scanners)</li><li>Ability to operate a <strong>counterbalance propane forklift</strong> (license required)</li><li>Mechanically inclined and willing to perform minor assembly tasks</li><li>Ability to lift up to <strong>65 lbs</strong></li><li>Strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and in a team environment</li><li>Attention to detail with strong time management and urgency in a fast-paced environment</li><li>Ability to read and verify product codes and quantities accurately</li></ul><p><strong>Academic & Professional Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>Some college coursework completed</li><li>Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office required)</li><li>Steel-toed safety boots (must be owned by the associate)</li><li>Valid forklift license</li><li>Police check clearance</li><li>Legally eligible to enter the United States (valid visa, no restrictions)</li></ul><p><strong>Additional Details</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Pay Rate:</strong> $21 – $24 CAD per hour</li><li><strong>Working Hours:</strong> Monday – Thursday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM; Friday, 8:00 AM to 2:30 PM</li><li><strong>Travel Requirements:</strong> Candidate must be clear on their eligibility to enter the USA. Travel will primarily be by air; however, there may be occasions where driving is required (either independently or with a company representative).
