The main responsibilities of a Customer Service Agent - (Data Entry Clerk), are data entry, proofreading, donor follow-ups either through email or phone, exporting and importing data into databases, Deposits, and appropriately filing digital documents. You should be diligent and reliable. You should pay attention to detail.</p><p><strong>Key Job Activities:</strong><br />• Sort and collate incoming and outgoing mail. <br />• Weigh mail to determine the correct postage.<br />• Time/date stamp all incoming/outgoing mail.<br />• Help customers complete change of address and mail hold forms, etc.<br />• Maintains database by entering new and updated customer and account information.<br />• Prepares source data for computer entry by compiling and sorting information.<br />• Establishes entry priorities.<br />• Ensuring appropriate turnaround time on all data entry<br />• Monitoring and updating existing data when required<br />• Retrieving data for team members upon request<br />• Utilizes applications effectively to process customer transactions accurately<br />• Maintains a working knowledge of client product, services and promotions<br />• Completes offline donor administrative work such as responding to emails. Follow up with customers via the phone to address missing information.<br />• Use fax and scanning machines.<br />• Client exports and deposits</p><p><strong>Requirements and skills</strong><br />• Experience with mail sorting and postage meter machines is a plus<br />• Good computer skills<br />• Well-organized, with sharp attention to detail<br />• Ability to work under pressure<br />• Strong typing skills; Knowledge of the touch-typing system is strongly preferred<br />• Good command of the English language, both oral and written, and customer service skills<br />• High school degree or equivalent</p></p></p>Create Your Resume First
