<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p><p></p><strong>DevOps Developer (AWS)</strong><p><strong>Fully Remote Opportunity</strong></p><strong>About BrightOrder</strong><p>We build technology that keeps fleets safer, smarter, and more profitable.</p><p>Our platform connects maintenance, telematics, and data to help operators make real-time decisions.</p><p>We’re scaling fast across North America and we need exceptional builders who code, automate, and optimize systems end-to-end.</p><strong>The Role</strong><p>We’re looking for a DevOps Developer with strong coding ability and deep AWS expertise.</p><p>You’ll write production-grade code in Python, JavaScript, and Go (Golang) while designing, deploying, and monitoring high-availability services.</p><p>This role blends development and DevOps — you’ll create tools, automate workflows, and ship code that keeps BrightOrder’s cloud infrastructure fast, secure, and reliable.</p><p></p><strong>What You&#39;ll Do</strong><ul><li> Design, develop, and maintain backend and automation services using Python, JavaScript, and Go (Golang). </li><li> Build internal tooling and automation scripts to accelerate deployments and monitoring. </li><li> Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines for fast, reliable, zero-downtime releases. </li><li> Optimize and maintain databases (PostgreSQL, Amazon Aurora) for scalability and performance. </li><li> Configure and manage AWS services (ECS, Lambda, EC2, RDS, S3, CloudWatch, etc.). </li><li> Establish and maintain message queues with RabbitMQ for inter-service communication. </li><li> Containerize and orchestrate applications with Docker and Kubernetes (EKS). </li><li> Implement infrastructure as code with Terraform or CloudFormation. </li><li> Build observability dashboards and alerts using CloudWatch, Prometheus, or Grafana. </li><li> Use AI tools (ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, Claude, etc.) to speed up scripting, testing, and troubleshooting. </li><li> Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, QA, and other developers to deliver scalable, high-quality releases. </li><li> Follow and enforce security best practices across all environments. </li></ul><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><strong>Must-Have Experience</strong><ul><li> 3–5+ years of backend or DevOps development experience. </li><li> Proven ability to write clean, maintainable code in Python, JavaScript, and Go (Golang). </li><li> Solid command of AWS (ECS/EKS, Lambda, RDS, EC2, S3, CloudWatch). </li><li> Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines, IaC, and automation frameworks. </li><li> Hands-on with Kubernetes and containerized deployments. </li><li> Proficiency in PostgreSQL and Amazon Aurora (query tuning, backups, optimization). </li><li> Familiarity with RabbitMQ or similar message queues. </li><li> Strong understanding of Linux systems, networking, and system security. </li><li> Demonstrated use of AI-powered development tools for code generation, documentation, and optimization. </li><li> Familiarity with Git-based workflows and collaborative development practices. </li></ul><p></p><strong>Nice to Have</strong><ul><li> Experience with React.JS or UI integrations for internal tooling. </li><li> Knowledge of Redis, serverless architectures, or microservices. </li><li> Exposure to fleet management, logistics, or telematics software. </li></ul><p><strong>Benefits</strong></p><strong>Why BrightOrder</strong><ul><li> Impact that matters — your work keeps fleets running and industries moving. </li><li> Fully remote, high-trust culture built on accountability and autonomy. </li><li> Competitive compensation with health, dental, and vision benefits. </li><li> Continuous learning through mentorship, new tech, and AI-driven innovation. </li><li> A team that values integrity, ownership, and excellence. </li></ul><p></p><p><strong>Ready to build?</strong></p><p>Join BrightOrder and code the infrastructure that powers a safer, smarter logistics world. </p></p></p>
