This person should be dynamic, energetic, well-organized with a strong aptitude for gathering and analyzing data. We are seeking a career driven professional with excellent interpersonal and organizational skills who wants to be a part of a winning team and organization</p><p>Key Responsibilities</p><ul><li>Develop and implement financial strategies that align with the companies' goals and objectives.</li><li>Prepare short- and long-term financial forecasts, budgets and business plans.</li><li>Monitor financial performance by measuring and analyzing results, initiating corrective actions as needed.</li><li>Oversee all financial processes including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, payroll, employee benefits and month-end/year-end close procedures.</li><li>Ensure the accurate and timely preparation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).</li><li>Review, refine, and document accounting policies, procedures and internal controls to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.</li><li>Manage cash flows, banking relations and cash management opportunities to optimize liquidity and financial stability.</li><li>Coordinate with financial institutions for any financing needs including loans, line of credit and other investment opportunities.</li><li>Coordinate and manage annual financial reviews and income tax filings by liaising with external accountants.</li><li>Oversee pricing structure for branded sales, coordinating with sales and Chief Revenue Officer for all pricing changes/strategies.</li><li>Supervise the billing, collections and credit polices to ensure timely cash receipts and manage working capital effectively.</li><li>Oversee and direct the implementation of new financial software.</li><li>Research and apply for government grants when available.</li><li>Perform other ad-hoc financial, accounting and capital analysis as required.</li><li>Supervise and mentor accounting staff, providing professional development opportunities and encouraging a high-performance culture.</li></ul><p>Qualifications</p><ul><li>Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.</li><li>A CPA designation is required.</li><li>7 + years of progressive experience in accounting and finance with at least 4 years in a management or leadership capacity.</li><li>Experience with Business Central software is highly desired</li><li>Strong analytical and critical thinking skills</li><li>Strong computer skills and the ability to learn new software quickly.</li><li>Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.</li><li>Ability to multitask and have proven organizational and time management skills.</li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team</li><li>Enjoy working with technology.</li><li>Keen sense of urgency and ability to effectively shift priorities as required.</li><li>Work location: King City, Ontario</li></ul><p>Position is based in Ontario</p><p>Combination of in-office and remote work</p><p>Some travel required within Canada</p><p>Job Types: Full-time, Permanent</p><p>Benefits:</p><ul><li>Dental care</li><li>Discounted or free food</li><li>Employee assistance program</li><li>Extended health care</li><li>Work from home</li></ul><p>Education:</p><ul><li>Bachelor's Degree (preferred)</li></ul><p>Experience:</p><ul><li>Corporate Finance: 7 years (preferred)</li></ul><p>Work Location: In person</p>
