Job Description
<p>Electrical Design Engineers in the Greater London area are welcome to join a dedicated growing team of commercial, residential and institutional building engineers. The Electrical Drafting Engineer will be responsible for supporting fellow designers/drafters, adhering to permit compliance and construction standards, accurately working independently while coordinating with other teams to meet objectives and deadlines. Some field time conducting site visits may be required occasionally.<br></p><p><b>Compensation</b><br></p><p>$65,000 - $80,000 annually to start based on experience and training, including:<br></p><ul><li>Health Benefits<br></li><li>RRSP Matching (4%)<br></li><li>Bonus/Profit Sharing<br></li><li>Vacation, Paid Time Off, Sick Days & Holidays<br></li><li>Team Events and Development<br></li></ul><p><b>Schedule</b><br></p><p>Day Shift, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm (M-Th); 8:00 am to 2:30 pm Fridays. Flexibility will be granted to those who need it so long as job functions are upheld. Overtime is paid.<br></p><br>
<b>Requirements</b><ul><li>Diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology or Architectural Technology.<br></li><li>CET designation (or eligible).<br></li><li>Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, and electrical design software (e.g. AGi32).<br></li><li>Previous experience designing and drafting systems for power distribution, lighting, safety and communication.<br></li><li>Excellent time-management, organization and communication skills.<br></li><li>Attention to detail: commitment to accurately troubleshoot and solve complex problems.<br></li></ul>
