<p><h3>Overview</h3><p>TRS has an exciting opportunity for a talented Electrical Engineering Manager to join our client's growing team in Calgary, AB! This position is responsible for guiding a team of electrical engineers and overseeing a diverse portfolio of technical projects. The role focuses on driving innovation through new product development while also enhancing and supporting existing technologies.</p><h3>Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align engineering efforts with broader business strategies.</li><li>Monitor team performance using defined metrics and take proactive steps to address gaps or inefficiencies.</li><li>Act as a mentor and coach, supporting professional development and technical growth within the team.</li><li>Ensure compliance with safety standards and promote a culture of health and safety excellence.</li><li>Coordinate engineering resources to ensure timely delivery of project milestones and operational objectives.</li><li>Contribute to strategic planning by identifying opportunities for innovation, cost savings, and process improvements.</li><li>Provide day-to-day leadership and guidance to electrical engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.</li><li>Implement structured processes for design reviews, documentation, and quality assurance.</li><li>Perform additional tasks as required.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field</li><li>P.Eng in Alberta</li><li>Proven experience in leading engineering teams within a manufacturing or industrial setting.</li><li>Strong background in project and resource management, with a track record of delivering complex technical projects.</li><li>Proficiency in electrical systems design, PLC programming, and power systems.</li><li>Excellent communication skills, both technical and interpersonal.</li><li>Familiarity with experimental design, prototyping, and design-for-manufacture principles.</li><li>Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.</li></ul><h3>How to apply</h3><p>To apply for this position, please send your Word formatted resume to assigned Manisha.Summan@trsstaffing.com</p><h3>About TRS</h3><p>TRS Staffing Solutions (Canada) Inc. specializes in supplying engineers, designers, project managers, and other technical and professional services personnel to a broad spectrum of industries worldwide.</p><p>We thank all applicants for their interest.
