Our team works together with focus and determination to deliver impactful results.</p><p><br /></p><p>Together, we are Powering Progress towards a reliable and resilient energy future.</p><p><br /></p><p>Role Overview<br /></p><p><br /></p><p>As a key member of the operations team, the Facilities Engineer plays a critical role in facilitating the integration of generating stations maintenance and capital asset management processes to ensure Enfinite is making the right investments at the right time for long-term reliability of Enfinites facilities. This role serves as the Operations field representative for maintenance and capital work identification and planning, as well as engineering support for existing/new facilities. Positive leadership, relevant work experience, and technical knowledge are requirements for this position.</p><p><br /></p><p>Core Responsibilities</p><p><br /></p><p><em>Maintenance and Operational Support:</em></p><p>Collaborate with field operations teams to make asset risk and value-based decisions in both real-time and near-real-time environments.</p><p><br /></p><p>Develop, assess, and prioritize scope, cost estimates, and risk assessments for maintenance projects, ensuring compliance with financial guidelines and operational best practices and Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) standards.</p><ul><li>Leadthe integration and coordination of maintenance activities and capital investments, <span >promotingefficiency</span> and cost-effectiveness.</li><li>Initiate & <span >Manageselectcritical</span> maintenance projects.</li><li>Facilitate the maintenance <span >andoperationsmanaged</span> capital planning processes, reporting, andparticipatingin work prioritization <span >tooptimizeinvestments</span> and operational success.</li><li>Manage primary operations ofWhitecourt Assets.</li><li>Managerelationship with SCADA Vendor. Facilitate continuous improvement projects onSCADAsystem to support asset performance and reporting.</li></ul><p><br /></p><p><em>Engineering and Asset Optimization</em>:</p><ul><li>Create and review documentation to define problems, opportunities, and risks, <span >recommendingappropriate</span> actionsand strategies.</li><li>Contribute to the technical due diligence for existing and potential assets, analyzing operational dataand performance metrics to improve asset value and reliability.</li><li>Engage in the lifecycle cost analysis and technical evaluations to support continuous improvement andsustainability initiatives.</li><li>Develop new asset capabilities toassistin commercializing asset technology as required.</li><li>Monitor& evaluateasset condition monitoring data. Make inferences from data about assetcondition.</li></ul><p><br /></p><p><em>Leadership and Development:</em></p><ul><li>Build andmaintaintrusted relationships across multiple levels of the organization, engaging andmotivating teams to achieve operational goals.</li><li><span >ActivelyparticipateinEnfinitessafety</span> culture, leading by example and supporting operations in <span >hazardidentification</span> and mitigation.</li></ul><p><br /></p><p><em>Cross-Functional Collaboration</em></p><ul><li>Collaborate with the Finance, Development, & Projects teamswith auditing Operations data used in various forms ofassetfiles andfinancialmodels for accuracy and <span >assetvaluations.Reviewcontracts,ensureproper</span> expense tracking and cost allocations.</li><li>Provide ad <span >hocoperationsdatato</span> supportthe Finance and Development teams withbudgeting, forecasting, or project review.</li></ul><p><br /></p><p><em>Travel:</em></p><ul><li>Up to 40% requirement to be on site but will vary based on operational and project needs, as well as flexibility for <span >idealcandidatespreference.</span></li></ul><p><br /></p><p><em>Other duties as assigned.</em></p><p><br /></p><p>Qualifications and Experience<br /></p><p><br /></p><ul><li>A bachelors degree in engineering, with an emphasis on Facilities or Mechanical Engineering considered an <span >asset.Equivalencies</span> of education and experience may be considered.</li><li>3-5 years working engineering experience.</li><li>Experience in the power generation or utility industriesis considered an asset.</li><li>SCADAEngineering experience is considered an asset.</li><li>Highly self-motivated with a proactivecan-learn, can-doattitude <span >towardsachievingobjectives.</span></li><li>Strong project management skills and experience, with a proven ability to manage maintenance schedules and budgets effectively.</li><li>Familiarity with a variety of power generation technologies, includingutility-scaleenergy storage,renewable energy systems, andgenerator <span >combinationsareconsideredan</span> asset.</li></ul><p><br /></p><p>Additional Requirements and Information</p><p><br /></p><ul><li>Field travel will berequired.</li><li>A valid Class 5 drivers licenseisessential for this role.</li><li>Travel will primarily involve addressing operational priorities during ongoing operations and providing support during the construction and commissioning phases of new projects.</li></ul><p><br /></p><p>Why Work at Enfinite</p><p><br /></p><p>At Enfinite, people are our greatest source of energy.We cultivate a workplace where passion meets purpose, and where every team member is empowered to grow, contribute, and thrive.
