<p>Full Time</p>
<p>Salary Range: $37.77 - $44.42 /hour</p>
<p>The Financial Analyst role focuses on providing business support to the many facets of the diverse organization that is St. Joseph's.</p>
<h3>Primary Objectives</h3>
<ul>
<li>Ensuring timely and accurate reporting of both internal and external financial data</li>
<li>Ensuring all monthly sub-ledger journals are processed in accordance with the Finance Departments month‑end timelines and policies</li>
<li>Prepare corporate balance sheet reconciliations</li>
<li>Provide monthly variance analysis related to key statistics and financial information results</li>
<li>Support the accounting operations team with budget and reporting, as well as provide support to other members of the Finance team and other health centre customers</li>
</ul>
<p>The successful candidate enjoys working as a team. Our dynamic environment requires your proven computer experience with excel and other data base systems. Understanding and performing various requirements of data input and retrieval from the financial system are also important elements.</p>
<h3>Essential Qualifications</h3>
<ul>
<li>Successful completion of a Bachelor's degree in business or accounting</li>
<li>Successful completion of Management Information System (MIS) Standards e-learning modules (completion within first two week of hire date)</li>
<li>Minimum 3 years recent/related finance experience, preferably in a hospital environment</li>
<li>High level of initiative and self‑direction with proven problem solving and critical thinking abilities</li>
<li>Knowledge of General Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), accounting practices and reconciliation processes</li>
<li>Demonstrated computer experience in databases, word processing, spreadsheet and financial software applications</li>
<li>Demonstrated advanced knowledge in Microsoft Excel</li>
<li>Expertise in manipulation of data and file transfers with specific abilities to manipulate and analyze information from existing computerized general ledger and subsystems</li>
<li>Excellent organizational, interpersonal & communication skills and analytical skills including written analysis</li>
<li>Ability to focus and multitask in a fast‑paced environment</li>
<li>Self‑directed individual with an ability to work well in a team setting</li>
<li>Oracle E-Business Suite Knowledge including General Ledger, Fixed Assets and Project Costing or similar platforms (Peoplesoft etc.)</li>
</ul>
<h3>Preferred Qualifications</h3>
<ul>
<li>Crystal report writer experience preferred</li>
<li>Progress towards or completion of a recognized professional accounting designation</li>
<li>Proficiency in French would be an asset</li>
</ul>

<ul>

<h3>Immunization Requirements</h3>
<ul>
<li>Provide vaccination records or proof of immunity against measles, mumps rubella, varicella (chicken pox), Hepatitis B, COVID-19 and influenza.</li>
<li>Provide documentation of the Tuberculosis skin testing</li>
</ul>
