Job Description

Our client, a leading logistics provider, is seeking a Shipper/Receiver to join their team. As a Shipper/Receiver, you will be part of the Warehouse Department supporting the operations team. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a positive attitude which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Shipper/Receiver

Location: Milton, ON

Pay Rate: $23 - $23.95 per hour
Day shift: 6:00 am - 2:30 pm Monday to Friday 
Afternoon shift: 2:00 pm – 10:30 pm Monday to Friday 
Night shift: Monday to Thursday 8:00 pm – 6:30 am (10 hour shift)
Training on Day shift for 2 weeks Monday to Friday 6:00 am - 2:30 pm 

What's the Job?

• Accurately receive products using the Data Warehouse System and stage received goods for replenishment.
• Operate Pump truck, Counterbalance, Raymond Reach, and Cherry picker
• Process shipments using the Pack Verification System and manage all courier shipments through the scan code shipping system.
• Efficiently pick parts to fulfill orders and verify that parts and quantities match sales orders.
• Safely operate all warehouse equipment and adhere to all company policies and procedures.
• Participate in Lean/Problem Solving activities and assist other departments as needed.

What's Needed?

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Experience operating Counterbalance/Raymond Reach/Cherry picker
• Ability to read and interpret purchase orders and packing slips.
• Proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications and ability to learn in-house systems.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Able to lift 50 lbs
