Shift Hours: Monday to Friday; 8:00am - 4:30pm
End date: March 2026
Compensation: $26.28- $34.83 per hour

What Will You Do?
The Human Resources Business Partner plays a key role in the Human Resources Department for their designated terminals and departmental managers, responsible for building strong relationships and rapport with all managers and employees. This position will add strategic value and will be the go-to Human Resources representative for the designated terminal location(s).
Responsibilities
- Building rapport and relationships with key managers to execute corporate and terminal strategic goals.
- Advising and assisting all employees at designated terminals on the interpretation and administration of the Canada Labour Code laws, policies and procedures.
- Overseeing employee relations at designated terminals, resolving employee relations problems, conducting investigations, and assisting in employee retention opportunities.
- Initiating recurring meetings with designated terminal managers and attending departmental meetings when requested.
- Working closely with designated terminals to establish and evaluate high-performing employees towards succession planning objectives.
- Supporting Managers and/or Supervisors with recruitment needs and training management in best practices.
- Utilizing the Predictive Index tool for effective team management.
- Maintaining updated job descriptions and analysis on job functions and departmental needs.
- Conducting training needs assessments and coordinating employee training.
- Gathering qualitative and quantitative retention data and compiling quarterly statistical reports.
- Participating in employee engagement and company programs.
- Completing new employee onboarding and conducting virtual group orientations.
- Assisting Human Resources team members with various projects.
- Traveling to designated locations as required.
- Performing all other Human Resources related duties as directed.
Who Are We Looking For?
- Minimum completion of a college diploma or related program in Human Resources Management.
- Certified Human Resources designation or working towards designation is considered an asset (CHRP or CHRL).
- Bilingualism (French and English) is considered an asset.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in the Human Resources field, with experience in employee relations issues.
- Demonstrated knowledge of human resources management practices.
- Proficient skills in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to conduct training and create presentations.
