<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p><strong>Job Title: Human Resources Coordinator</strong><br /><strong>Job Description</strong><p>The Human Resources (HR) Coordinator role is perfect for someone who excels as a true generalist, supporting multiple HR functions and offering vital day-to-day assistance to the entire HR team. In our dynamic HR environment, each day presents new challenges and opportunities, ranging from recruitment to occupational health and safety. This is a hands-on role where you can significantly impact the employee lifecycle and contribute to our business success.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong><ul><li>Review applications and screen resumes to identify qualified candidates for open roles.</li><li>Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring teams.</li><li>Communicate with candidates throughout the hiring process to gather required information, provide updates, and ensure a positive experience.</li><li>Provide Occupational Health and Safety support, including internal communications, coordination of Personal Protective Equipment programs, and initiatives such as Work Environment Day and the Thames River Clean Up.</li><li>Process all monthly invoices for the HR department with accuracy and timeliness.</li><li>Collaborate with HR functional teams to assist with return-to-work processes for leaves of absence.</li><li>Support the electronic data storage project by scanning HR files.</li><li>Assist with benefit reviews and employee assistance program usage.</li><li>Coordinate events for new employees and students throughout the year.</li><li>Act as the main point of contact for the Tuition Assistance program.</li></ul><strong>Essential Skills</strong><ul><li>Experience in human resources and recruiting.</li><li>Proficiency in HR administration and support.</li><li>Certification as a Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) or Certified Human Resources Leader (CHRL).</li><li>University degree or college diploma in business or HR.</li><li>Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS).</li><li>Knowledge of disability management.</li><li>Strong skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.</li></ul><strong>Additional Skills & Qualifications</strong><ul><li>Experience with recruitment processes.</li><li>Knowledge of jobvite.</li><li>Capability to manage disability claims.</li></ul><strong>Work Environment</strong></p><p>This position is based on-site, five days a week, in an office setting within a manufacturing environment. The role offers a long-term opportunity with the potential for a 12-month contract that may be extended or converted to permanent.
