If you are committed and collaborative professional looking to contribute to a hard-working, innovative team, this opportunity is for you. </p><p>Black & McDonald Limited is actively seeking and HVAC Journeyman Mechanic for our Service Division to maintain, upgrade, troubleshoot and repair HVAC equipment. The individual would be required to be a member of or join the local 787 Refrigeration and Air Conditioning UA.</p><p><strong>Duties & Responsibilities include but are not limited to:</strong></p><ul><li>Perform routine predictive planned maintenance duties and log readings.</li><li>Complete work orders, deficiency reports and field quotations to improve client equipment operations.</li><li>Assemble and install refrigeration and air conditioning components.</li><li>Installing, troubleshooting, and overhauling heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration systems.</li><li>Repairing and replacing components for heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration systems.</li><li>Reading and interpreting blueprints.</li><li>Handle, recover and store refrigerants.</li><li>Completing safety documentation for scope of work</li><li>Other duties as required.</li></ul><p><strong>COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS</strong><br /></p><ul><li>Communicates Effectively</li><li>Customer Focus</li><li>Problem Solving and Innovation</li><li>Teamwork and Collaboration</li><li>Values and Respects Others</li></ul><p><strong>SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS </strong></p><ul><li>Must possess a valid 313A refrigeration certificate.</li><li>3 or more years&#39; experience as a Journeyman HVAC Technician.</li><li>Valid G1 or G2 Certification.</li><li>Valid Ozone Depletion Prevention Certificate (ODP).</li><li>OBT 1 Considered an asset.</li><li>Valid G&#39; Driver&#39;s license.</li></ul><p>Black & McDonald welcomes and encourages applications from persons with accessibility accommodation requirements.
