Immigration Lawyer (North York)
Job description
Our client is busy boutique firm based in North York. They are currently seeking a talented Immigration Lawyer with at least 5 years of post-call experience, who works well in team environments and has strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills as well as exceptional analytical skills.
Your new role
In this new role you will be responsible for carrying a full case load focusing primarily on Immigration matters as well as coordinating the application process, including evaluating applications to identify category qualifications, researching the processes and requirements for different types of applications. You will be required to prepare submission packages for both basic and complex cases and submitting to various government agencies. In this role you will also aid with the client intake process and respond to both basic and complex client inquiries to ensure that applications are processed, and any challenges are anticipated and taken care of.
What you will need to succeed
To be considered for this position, you must have minimum of 5 years’ post-call experience, with knowledge in Immigration Law. You can work well under pressure, manage priorities, and meet deadlines. You will also have strong teamwork skills, trustworthy, accountable, proactive and a positive work attitude. In addition, you have membership in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario
