<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p><p><strong>If you thrive in a team-oriented workplace that challenges your skills, to drive your career development, embraces diversity and rewards innovation, with competitive pay and great employee programs, join the Ainsworth (a GDI Company) team today!</strong><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>Job Summary:</strong></p><p>We are currently looking for a Journeyman Electrician to join our Edmonton growing team. </p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li> Installs, wiring electrical system equipment and components in compliance with electrical codes, standards, and regulations.</li><li> Studies plans, drawings, specifications, and work orders to determine work requirement and sequence of installations.</li><li> Repairs and maintains low voltage systems (under 120V).</li><li> Assist with site commissioning, point to point verifications, troubleshooting </li><li> Appropriately handles and is familiar with all testing and electrical repair tools and equipment.</li><li> Perform tasks with minimum supervision and in accordance with Health & Safety policies and procedures</li><li> Adhere to all company policies and procedures.</li><li> Perform all job functions in a safe and healthful manner, abiding by and in accordance with all applicable Health, Safety and Environmental company policies and government <span >legislation/regulations.</span></li><li> Adhere to the Company’s Quality System operating procedures.</li><li> Perform other duties as assigned by Management.</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li> Valid Driver’s license.</li><li> Fluent in English – both written and oral.</li><li> The ability to read and understand construction plans and specs and product documentation.</li><li> Medium physical duties, the ability to stand for long periods of time in a construction environment, the ability to climb ladders and at times work from heights.</li><li> Good knowledge of the electrical trade and the Canadian Electrical Code.</li><li> Adept at installing conduit and pulling wire</li></ul><p>While we appreciate all applications we receive, we advise that only candidates under consideration will be contacted.</p><p></p><p>Ainsworth (a GDI Company) is committed to building a diverse and inclusive workplace.
