The technologies we develop aim to solve some of the world’s most challenging problems and change the world.</p><p>Note: this role requires on-site work with a shift from 12pm to 9pm.</p><h3>Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Support various projects and sub-teams by completing routine technical tasks to improve lab infrastructure and perform regular machine maintenance.</li><li>Maintain machines and systems such as air compressors, water filtration systems, and HVAC equipment.</li><li>Be part of a rapid response team for lab and facilities issues.</li><li>Work toward improving and documenting standard operating and maintenance procedures.</li><li>Clean and organize the lab; build and set up equipment (racks, tables, machines, etc.).</li><li>Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot building infrastructure systems, including plumbing, water systems, water chilling technology, and air compressors.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Plumbing/mechanic/millwright apprenticeship or equivalent experience</li><li>2+ years of experience in a laboratory environment</li><li>Experience with one or more of the following: Plumbing; General mechanical work; Air compressors installation/repair</li><li>Detail-oriented with a positive attitude, able to work independently, highly motivated to learn</li><li>Excellent interpersonal and writing skills for creating high-quality documentation</li></ul><h3>Preferred qualifications</h3><ul><li>Experience with CNC Machining</li><li>Experience writing SOPs</li></ul><h3>Work arrangement and eligibility</h3><p>Note: The position is on-site only and requires availability for a 12pm–9pm shift.
