The companys dynamic team is committed to providing the highest<br />level of customer satisfaction and exceeding all industry standards.</p><p><br />Position Overview<br />We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Labourer to join our team. The Labourer will<br />drive a cube van, deliver and operate a hose vacuum truck, and perform heavy manual<br />labour on industrial sites, including steel mills. This role requires outdoor work in various<br />environmental conditions, with duties such as setting up hoses, shovelling, and other<br />labour-intensive tasks as required.<br /></p><p><br /></p><p>Key Responsibilities</p><ul><li>Operate a cube van for transportation of materials, tools, and equipment to<br />various industrial sites.</li><li>Drive and manage a hose vacuum truck, ensuring it is properly loaded and<br />unloaded at each job site.</li><li>Perform heavy labour tasks, including shovelling, setting up hoses, and working<br />with industrial machinery.</li><li>Follow safety protocols and operational procedures while working in industrial<br />environments, particularly steel mills.</li><li>Assist in maintaining a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety<br />guidelines and best practices.</li><li>Work outdoors in various weather conditions, handling equipment and materials<br />as required.</li><li>Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to ensure tasks are<br />completed on schedule and meet quality standards.</li><li>Assist with routine maintenance of equipment and vehicles, ensuring they are in<br />good working condition.</li><li>Help with other labour-intensive tasks and duties as directed by the supervisor or</li></ul><p> manager.<br /></p><p><br /></p><p>Qualifications & Specifications</p><ul><li>Valid G-Class driver&#39;s license with a clean driving record.</li><li>Experience in operating cube vans and heavy equipment (hose vacuum trucks or<br />similar machinery) is preferred.</li><li>Proven ability to perform heavy physical labour, including lifting, shovelling, and<br />manual handling.</li><li>Ability to work in outdoor conditions, including extreme weather environments.</li><li>Prior experience in industrial or construction environments, particularly steel<br />mills, is a plus.</li><li>Strong attention to safety protocols and willingness to follow all safety<br />regulations.</li><li>Must be able to lift heavy loads (up to 50 lbs or more).</li><li>Ability to stand, kneel, and bend for long periods of time.</li><li>Willingness to work in industrial and outdoor environments.<br /></li><li>Flexible to work irregular hours or weekends as needed, depending on project<br />requirements.<br /></li></ul><p><br /></p><p>Work Environment and Benefits</p><ul><li>Competitive hourly wage (based on experience).</li><li>Health Benefits after 3 months of employment.</li><li>Da-Lee Group provides equal employment opportunities (EEO), and we welcome<br />candidates from all abilities and backgrounds.
