<p>Gardon Construction is seeking an experienced Light Commercial Site Supervisor to lead small-to-medium commercial projects while supporting our transition into advanced construction methods, including additive construction and 3D concrete printing.</p>
<p>This role is hands‑on, client‑facing, and requires strong leadership, coordination, and accountability across multiple active sites.</p>
<h3>Key Responsibilities</h3>
<ul>
<li>Supervise and coordinate light commercial construction projects (typically $500K–$5M).</li>
<li>Lead site teams and subcontractors, ensuring productivity, quality, and safety.</li>
<li>Manage daily site operations including trade sequencing, short‑interval planning, and look‑ahead schedules.</li>
<li>Act as the primary on‑site contact for clients, consultants, inspectors, and stakeholders.</li>
<li>Oversee inspections and quality control to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, codes, and company standards.</li>
<li>Maintain a safe, compliant job site in accordance with all safety regulations.</li>
<li>Track site progress, support change management, and maintain awareness of schedule and cost impacts.</li>
<li>Utilize digital field tools for reporting, documentation, and coordination.</li>
</ul>
<h3>Qualifications</h3>
<ul>
<li>Proven supervisory experience in light commercial construction, with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.</li>
<li>Strong leadership, trade coordination, and problem‑solving skills.</li>
<li>Excellent communication skills and confidence working directly with clients and consultants.</li>
<li>Solid understanding of construction safety protocols and regulatory requirements.</li>
<li>Experience with inspections, deficiency management, and quality assurance.</li>
<li>Working knowledge of project cost awareness, change orders, and time‑and‑material tracking.</li>
<li>Comfort using digital construction tools (Procore or similar platforms, mobile reporting, digital drawings).</li>
<li>Interest in emerging construction methods, including additive construction and 3D concrete printing, with the ability to adapt to new workflows, materials, and site practices.</li>
<li>Post‑secondary education in construction management or a related field or equivalent field experience.</li>
<li>Relevant certifications (safety training, supervisor certifications) are an asset.</li>
