<p><h3>Overview</h3><p><b>Position:</b> Marine Pilot Transfer AW-169 Hoisting, NVG, PIC</p><p><b>Aircraft:</b> Leonardo AW-169</p><p><b>Location:</b> Sabine Pass, Texas</p><p><b>Schedule:</b> Rotational, 14 days on/14 days off</p><p><b>Company & Position Summary:</b> HeliService USA is the first and only helicopter operator supporting the development of offshore wind in the United States. We have a proven track record of performance, on-time delivery to our customers, and currently serve all developers and major tier-1 suppliers. HeliService USA is a Veteran owned and operated business, staffed locally, with over fifty percent of our employees having served in the military. The company has over three decades of operation, supporting offshore wind customers with crew-transfer, hoisting, cargo, and helicopter emergency medical services (HEMS).</p><p>HeliService USA is seeking an experienced Captain to join our team in Sabine Pass, Texas. This position requires expertise in IFR operations, NVG proficiency, and hoist missions using the AW-169 helicopter. Join a team committed to excellence, safety, and mission success.</p><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3>
<ul><li>Conduct IFR and NVG operations in compliance with 14 CFR Part 135 regulations.</li><li>Perform hoisting missions in the offshore environment, adhering to company SOPs and safety protocols.</li><li>Ensure operational readiness, including pre-flight and post-flight inspections, mission planning, and risk assessments.</li><li>Act as Pilot-in-Command (PIC) while fostering a culture of Crew Resource Management (CRM).</li><li>Maintain compliance with HeliService USA policies, FAA regulations, and Safety Management Systems (SMS).</li></ul>
<h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li><b>Licenses and Certifications</b>:<ul><li>FAA ATP or Commercial Rotorcraft-Helicopter Certificate.</li><li>FAA First Class Medical Certificate.</li><li>Must be currently authorized to work in the United States of America.</li></ul></li><li><b>Flight Experience</b>:<ul><li>Minimum of 2,000 rotorcraft total flight hours.</li><li>500 hours of multi-engine helicopter time.</li><li>100 hours of night flight operations.</li><li>Proven experience in IFR and NVG operations.</li></ul></li><li><b>Additional Requirements</b>:<ul><li>Hoist operation experience preferred.</li><li>Offshore flight experience preferred.</li><li>Familiarity with AW-169 systems and limitations.</li><li>Strong knowledge of risk management, SMS, and FAA regulations.</li></ul></li></ul>
