Job Description

<p><h3>Position Overview</h3>
<p>The Division of Neurosurgery, Department of Surgery at the University of Saskatchewan and Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) is actively recruiting a full‑time clinical academic Neurosurgeon with fellowship training in complex spine surgery. The position is based in Regina, serving patients through the Saskatchewan Health Authority’s Regina Area hospitals, including Regina General Hospital (RGH) and Pasqua Hospital (PH).</p>
<h3>Responsibilities</h3>
<ul>
<li>Work collaboratively with the Divisions of Neurosurgery and Orthopedic Surgery and multidisciplinary teams involved in acute care, trauma, rehabilitation, and outpatient services.</li>
<li>Provide excellence in patient care, teaching, and research. Clinical or translational research interests are supported through SHA and partnerships with the University of Saskatchewan.</li>
<li>Participate in undergraduate and postgraduate medical education, including teaching responsibilities within the University of Saskatchewan’s Regina Campus.</li>
<li>Academic rank will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.</li>
</ul>

<li>Fellowship training in complex spine surgery.</li>
<li>Excellent communication and teaching skills.</li>
<li>Commitment to research and academic excellence.</li>
</ul>

<h3>Location & Start Date</h3>
<p><b>Location of practice</b> – Royal University Hospital, Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.<br/>Anticipated start date: July 1, 2026.</p>
