This role is not an IT support role as we have a dedicated IT Support vendor, rather a technical facilitator that can work with users and the vendor to ensure that all employees possess the correct hardware, software, applications, complete cyber security training and understand compliance.</p><p></p><p>Role and responsibilities:</p><p></p><p>Office and <span >FacilitiesAdministration</span></p><p></p><ul><li><span >Officeadministration</span> / reception filing, answering phone calls etc.</li><li>Place monthly orders for food, snacks and office supplies.</li><li>Mailing and shipping.</li><li>Maintain plants.</li><li>Manage the office facilities and maintenance vendors.</li><li>Identify and execute cost savings initiatives.</li><li>Provide secondary support for travel and internal / external event coordination.</li><li>Assisting HR during the new employee onboarding process</li></ul><p></p><p><span >ITSupportAdministration</span></p><p></p><ul><li>Monitor and support help desk ticket resolution (delivered through 3rd party IT vendor).</li><li>Maintain hardware inventory and documentation ofITequipment issued (Asset Management).</li><li>Assist with technology onboarding of new colleagues (user setup, configuration & compliance).</li><li><span >MonitorIToutsourcing</span> Company SLA and Satisfaction Performance.</li><li>Password Management.</li><li>Cyber Security Training and Compliance Monitoring.</li></ul><p></p><p></p><p>Skills and qualifications</p><p></p><ul><li>A degree or college diploma or certificate in <span >businessadministration</span> or <span >officeadministration</span></li><li>5+ years experience of supporting the office andan ITenvironment.</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office suites and other office technology.</li><li>Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Strategic planning and business development skills.</li><li>Experience supporting company events for internal staff and vendors.</li><li>Exceptional leadership, organizational, and time management skills.</li><li>Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Some experience withITsystems, networks, and related technologies.</li><li>Some knowledge of best practices inITadministration and system security.</li><li>Some knowledge of deploying and enforcing security policies and procedures.</li><li>Attention to detail, sense of urgency</li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team</li><li>Some knowledge of booking air travel and coordination</li></ul><p><br /></p><p>This position is based in our Toronto office 5 days a week reporting to our Deputy Chief of Staff.
