Currently, we have an opening for an Oilfield Survey Crew Chief – Fort McMurray, ideally with experience in the Oilfield Survey sector and a desire to grow with an innovative company.

The Work

• Survey wellsites, pipeline right-of-ways, pipeline integrity, and construction projects across Western Canada.
• Willingness and ability to travel, with shifts lasting up to 21 days.
• Work outdoors in all seasons and weather conditions.
• Follow safety protocols.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to survey assistants.
• Prepare clear, concise, and accurate field notes, records, and calculations.

What You Bring To The Table

• Strong focus on building relationships, both internal and external to CORE.
• A desire for excellence in all tasks.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to liaise effectively with clients.
• Creativity.
• A degree or diploma from a technical college in Geomatics.
• Experience leading an oilfield survey crew.
• Experience performing legal surveys within the Alberta Township System.
• Experience working on industrial construction sites and in remote bush conditions.
• Experience with drones is an asset.
