<p><b>Operations & Production Lead - Nutritional Manufacturing</b></p><p><br></p><p>A manufacturer of natural health and wellness products seeks a hands-on leader to manage cutting edge natural health products. Reporting to the President, this role ensures schedules, quality, and compliance targets are consistently met.</p><p><br></p><p><b>RESPONSIBILITIES:</b></p><ul><li>Oversee daily production scheduling to meet demand requirements.</li><li>Monitor efficiency, yield, and downtime; correct variances quickly.</li><li>Ensure GMP compliance documentation and audit readiness.</li><li>Enforce safety procedures and allergen controls.</li><li>Lead, coach, and evaluate production staff and a maintenance technician.</li><li>Implement Lean practices and process improvements to reduce waste and increase output.</li><li>Collaborate with R&D to test and scale new formulations.</li><li>Track cost, labour, and inventory accuracy in coordination with Supply Chain.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><b>REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS.</b></p><p><b> BS or Diploma</b> in Food Science, Engineering, or similar discipline; equivalent experience considered.</p><ul><li>6 - 8 years in regulated manufacturing (food, nutraceutical, or pharmaceutical), including 2+ years supervising teams.</li><li>Knowledge of GMP, OEE tracking, and production planning tools.</li><li>Strong leadership and communication skills in a fast-moving environment.</li></ul><p><b>Preferred:</b></p><ul><li>Background in nutraceutical or confectionery production.</li><li>Lean Six Sigma or equivalent continuous improvement training.</li><li>Experience scaling new products or starting new production lines.</li><li>Fluency in Mandarin is an asset.</li></ul><p></p>
