The Byng Group is a leading interior renovation general contractor with more than 50 years' experience and a team of over 500, specializing in high-rise rental properties.
We are looking for experienced Painters to join our team in London/Sarnia.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Paint walls, ceilings, doors, hallways, shelving in Apartment Units.
- Prepares surfaces to be plastered.
- Fills in nicks and cuts in ceilings, walls, and partitions using plaster.
- Repair walls with drywall
- Sand areas after each coat making drywall paint-ready
- Drywall Repairs, Taping and Plastering
- Drywall Installation is considered an asset
- Framing with Metal Studs considered an asset
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- At least 3 years’ experience
- Own Tools Required. They are not supplied.
- Quality and Speed are assessed.
- Able to problem solve on-site and off-site
- Ability to follow and complete a daily, weekly & monthly task schedule
