<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p><p><p><strong>Position Overview:</strong><br />Lambert Nemec Group is supporting an organization in the recruitment of a People & Culture Business Partner (1 Year Term). This role is ideal for an HR professional with strong labour relations experience who is comfortable working in a fast-paced, growing environment. The successful candidate will provide advisory support across the HR function while taking the lead on labour relations, investigations, and employee experience initiatives.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Guide leaders on a wide range of employee and labour relations matters, ensuring decisions align with employment legislation and collective agreements.</li><li>Manage grievance processes, support contract interpretation, and provide recommendations on workplace issues.</li><li>Conduct detailed and impartial investigations related to policy concerns, complaints, and sensitive employee situations.</li><li>Develop and deliver training and learning sessions for employees and leaders through both in-person and digital formats.</li><li>Support employee engagement and culture programs, including recognition initiatives and milestone celebrations.</li><li>Collaborate with HR team members to ensure consistent application of policies, procedures, and best practices.</li><li>Contribute to ongoing HR projects that support organizational growth and process improvement.</li></ul><p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>Candidates must be legally entitled to work in Canada and reside in Winnipeg, Manitoba.</li><li>Minimum of 5 years of HR experience with a strong foundation in labour relations and unionized workplace dynamics.</li><li>CPHR designation or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.</li><li>Demonstrated experience leading investigations, managing grievances, and supporting bargaining or arbitration processes.</li><li>Proven ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and navigate situations with limited structure.</li><li>Solid understanding of employment legislation and HR standards.</li></ul><p><strong>Rewards:</strong></p><ul><li>Competitive salary range between $60K - $80K</li><li>Comprehensive benefits package, matched pension contributions, flex days, and employee programs.</li><li>Opportunity to contribute meaningfully to a well-established organization undergoing continued growth.</li></ul><p><strong>To Apply:</strong></p><p>If you are interested in this opportunity, please forward your resume (in Word format) directly to <strong>Jillian Winchar</strong><strong>, Recruitment Coordinator – People & Culture</strong>, at <strong><span >jillian@lambertnemec.com</span></strong>, referencing <strong>“People & Culture Business Partner”</strong> in the subject line of your email.
