<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p>Salary: $80,000 - $95,000 CAD per annum<br /><p>Davis Controls is part of the Hoskin Group and is a leading distributor in Canadian Automation and Process markets.</p><p><br /></p><p>Reporting To: Product Group Manager</p><p><br /></p><p>Summary:<br />As a leading distributor in the Canadian automation and process markets, Davis Controls Ltd. seeks a motivated, organized, and quick-learning Product Specialist to join our Oakville team. The successful candidate will support quotation management, order processing, customer service, follow-ups, and other administrative tasks, contributing to efficient operations and excellent client service</p><p><br /></p><p>Principle Accountabilities:</p><ul><li>Purpose & Values: Live and demonstrate the companys purpose and values anchored around delivering excellent customer experience with integrity, respect, and continuous improvement while fulfilling your potential.</li><li>Provide customers with the appropriate information concerning prices, deliveries, and technical specifications</li><li>Offer expert advice to clients in their choices of technologies and components</li><li>Assess customers needs and develop proposals accordingly</li><li>Perform technical research to offer the best solution to the customer</li><li>Ensure that products meet the requirements of plans & specifications</li><li>Create quotations in the CRM system, in collaboration with external Sales Representatives and Product/Sales Managers</li><li>Ensure pricing is in line with the companys policies and objectives while keeping in mind the competition</li><li>Process purchase orders and issue order confirmations</li><li>Provide technical support to clients</li><li>Develop good relationships with customers to maintain and grow sales</li><li>Act as a liaison between customers and our different internal departments to efficiently solve customers problems.</li><li>Assist with keeping our CRM system and database up to date</li><li>Stay up to date with knowledge about new products and technologies</li><li>Attend training sessions given by suppliers</li><li>Perform additional duties as assigned to support the team and organizational goals.</li></ul><p><br /></p><p>Requirements and Skills:</p><ul><li>Post-secondary diploma or degree in Business, Engineering Technology, Industrial Automation, Electronics, or a related field.</li><li>Technical coursework or certification related to automation, instrumentation, or process control is considered an ASSET.</li><li>3 to 5 years of experience in an inside sales, product support, customer service, or technical support role, preferably within an industrial, automation, or distribution environment.</li><li>Experience preparing quotations, processing sales orders, and supporting customers in a fast-paced office setting.</li><li>Prior exposure to ERP/CRM systems, pricing tools, or order management platforms is an asset.</li><li>Experience working with technical products or coordinating with sales, engineering, and operations teams is preferred.</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills</li><li>Ability to multitask and work independently</li><li>Possess strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills</li></ul><p><br /></p><p>Job Types: Full-time, Permanent</p><p><br /></p><p>Benefits:</p><ul><li>Company events</li><li>Dental care</li><li>Employee assistance program</li><li>Extended health care</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>On-site parking</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>RRSP match</li><li>Tuition reimbursement</li><li>Vision care</li></ul><p></p></p></p>Create Your Resume First
