<p><b>NES Fircroft is a leading global technical recruitment company providing professional contract and permanent staff to a diverse worldwide client base within the oil & gas industry.</b></p><p><br></p><p><b>Job Title: 2 Roles - </b></p><ul><li><b>Program Manager - Disaster Recovery (DR) & Minimum Viable Company (MVC) Initiatives</b></li><li><b>Project Manager - Enterprise Data Governance & AI</b></li></ul><p><b>Location: Calgary, AB</b></p><p><b>Length: Initial 3-month contract (planned 12-month engagement with possible extension)</b></p><p><b>Rotation: Monday to Friday, standard office schedule</b></p><p><br></p><p><b>Role 1: Program Manager - Disaster Recovery (DR) & Minimum Viable Company (MVC)</b></p><p><br></p><p>We are seeking a strategic and execution-focused Program Manager to lead the implementation of Disaster Recovery (DR) and Minimum Viable Company (MVC) initiatives. Following a recent vendor assessment, this individual will translate recommendations into actionable workstreams, coordinate cross-functional teams, and deliver a resilient operating model aligned with industry best practices.</p><p><b>Key Responsibilities</b></p><ul><li>Lead end-to-end execution of the DR and MVC program, including governance, operating, and delivery model implementation.</li><li>Translate vendor recommendations into structured work packages and oversee execution.</li><li>Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external vendors (e.g., PwC, Accenture) to align technical and process deliverables.</li><li>Develop and manage program roadmaps, timelines, and maturity benchmarks (6, 12, 18 months).</li><li>Define and manage roles across delivery and sustainment teams, including recovery test coordination.</li><li>Oversee RFP development, vendor engagement strategies, cost, and scope management.</li><li>Prepare and deliver executive presentations and progress reports.</li><li>Monitor progress against resiliency frameworks (e.g., NIST) to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.</li><li>Facilitate collaboration across departments to ensure alignment with strategic planning and cybersecurity initiatives.</li></ul><p><b>Qualifications</b></p><ul><li>15+ years of experience in program/project management, preferably in IT resilience, disaster recovery, or enterprise risk.</li><li>Proven success managing complex, multi-vendor initiatives in large organizations.</li><li>Strong understanding of DR frameworks (e.g., NIST), operating models, and governance structures.</li><li>Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging senior leadership and technical stakeholders.</li><li>PMP or equivalent certification preferred.</li><li>Experience with vendor management, RFPs, and budget planning.</li><li>Experience within the energy or utilities sector is an asset.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><b>Role 2: Project Manager - Enterprise Data Governance & AI</b></p><p><br></p><p>We are also seeking a dynamic Project Manager to lead enterprise-wide Data Governance and Artificial Intelligence (AI) implementation projects. This position will oversee strategic data initiatives, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives, regulatory compliance, and innovation goals.</p><p><br></p><p><b>Key Responsibilities</b></p><p><b>Project Delivery & Execution</b></p><ul><li>Manage full project lifecycle for data governance and AI initiatives-from planning to delivery and closure.</li><li>Oversee production releases and deployments for enterprise data and AI platforms.</li><li>Ensure adherence to PMO standards, change management protocols, and compliance requirements.</li><li>Deliver projects on time, within budget, and to defined scope.</li></ul><p><b>Data Governance Leadership</b></p><ul><li>Develop and implement enterprise data governance and AI frameworks, policies, and procedures.</li><li>Lead data quality, classification, lineage, and metadata management initiatives.</li><li>Ensure compliance with data privacy, regulatory, and audit requirements.</li></ul><p><b>AI Project Management</b></p><ul><li>Lead AI and machine learning project implementations-from requirements through deployment.</li><li>Manage integration of AI solutions across enterprise systems and ensure ethical AI governance.</li><li>Oversee model validation, risk management, and performance monitoring processes.</li></ul><p><b>Stakeholder & Risk Management</b></p><ul><li>Engage with business, technical, legal, compliance, and risk stakeholders to ensure alignment.</li><li>Present updates and recommendations to senior leadership.</li><li>Identify, assess, and mitigate project and data-related risks.</li><li>Coordinate with cybersecurity teams for secure data and AI implementations.</li></ul><p><b>Qualifications</b></p><ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Business, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.</li><li>PMP certification strongly preferred.</li><li>5+ years of project management experience in data governance, AI, or enterprise technology.</li><li>Expertise in data governance frameworks, regulatory compliance, and AI lifecycle management.</li><li>Proven success delivering complex, cross-functional data or AI projects.</li><li>Excellent stakeholder communication and leadership skills.</li><li>Knowledge of the energy sector or related industries is an asset.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><b>These roles offer an exciting opportunity to contribute to critical IT resilience, data, and AI transformation programs.
