<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p><p><strong>What We Offer</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Competitive Pay:</strong> $36.25 - 38.15/hour + 12% in lieu of benefits + 4% in lieu of vacation </li><li>HOOPP Pension Plan</li><li>Employee and Family Assistance Program (EFAP)</li><li>A supportive team and a workplace where you can truly make a difference</li></ul><p><strong>Description:</strong></p><ul><li>Assess residents’ needs and develop individualized care plans.</li><li>Promote and address the physical, psychological, and spiritual well-being of residents.</li><li>Provide care and perform procedures within the defined scope of practice as outlined by the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO).</li><li>Administer medications and maintain accurate documentation.</li><li>Coordinate and schedule medical appointments for residents.</li><li>Communicate regularly with families to obtain consent and provide updates on resident care.</li><li>Supervise Personal Support Workers (PSWs) to ensure all personal care meets Ministry of Long-Term Care regulations.</li><li>Deliver specialized care, including wound management, ostomy care, injections, palliative support, and nail care.</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Current registration as a Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) with the College of Nurses of Ontario, or proof of application from another Canadian province or territory.</li><li>Valid CPR certification, renewed annually.</li><li>Bilingualism (English/French) is considered an asset.</li></ul><p></p><p><strong>Our Mission</strong></p><p>In the spirit of the Religious Hospitallers of St. Joseph, we reveal God’s love and mercy through compassionate care focused on the body, mind, and soul of all those whose lives we touch.</p><p>Accommodation will be provided for all parts of the hiring process in compliance with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA).
