THE OPPORTUNITY Reporting to the Manager, Prospect Management & Research, the RPM Specialist’s objective will be to drive revenue generation through the development and growth of UHF’s donor base. The RPM Specialist will support UHF’s fundraising efforts by leveraging analytical and research skills to identify, qualify, and manage donor prospects and provide actionable insights for fundraising teams. The RPM Specialist will support the advancement of our mission by contributing to fund development strategy and supporting a high-performing team of fundraisers in meeting their goals. You will also provide specialized support to launch and sustain comprehensive fundraising campaigns. RESPONSIBILITIES <ul><li>Prospect Identification & Analysis: Implement a proactive prospect identification plan, measure outcomes, and conduct thorough research to qualify new prospects. Assist fundraisers in managing relationships with existing donors.</li><li>Data Management & Reporting: Maintain accurate donor and prospect data, monitor data integrity, and generate reporting and dashboards to inform strategy and decision-making.</li><li>Collaboration & Donor Engagement: Work closely with fundraisers to develop effective engagement strategies, manage portfolios, and support donor pipelines. Provide insights to optimize fundraising efforts.</li><li>Campaign Support: Identify and research prospects to support fundraising campaigns, applying best practices in prospect management, reporting, and analytics.</li></ul> MEASURES OF SUCCESS <ul><li>Seamlessly and proactively take ownership of daily research and prospect management tasks, ensuring consistency and reliability.</li><li>Translate the Foundation’s prospecting strategy into clear, actionable priorities.</li><li>Build strong, collaborative relationships with fundraisers and UHF team members.</li><li>Work independently, managing multiple projects with precision, initiative, and accountability.</li></ul> THE INDIVIDUAL This opportunity is ideal for a strategic thinker and analytical professional who thrives in a mission-driven environment and is passionate about advancing healthcare through philanthropy. The successful candidate will bring a blend of technical expertise, intellectual curiosity, and collaborative spirit, enabling them to transform data into meaningful insights that drive fundraising success. The incoming RMP Specialist will be energized by the challenge of supporting a high-performing team and contributing to bold, future-focused campaigns. With a strong understanding of prospect research and data management, they will be a trusted partner to fundraisers, helping to shape donor strategies and optimize engagement efforts. Education <ul><li>Post-secondary degree or diploma; a degree in Community Research, Data Analytics or Library Sciences would be considered an asset.</li></ul> Experience <ul><li>3+ years of experience in research and prospect management, preferably within a fundraising organization.</li><li>Strong knowledge of research and prospect management best practice and research tools (i.e. iWave, CharityCan).</li><li>Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and customer relationship management (CRM) databases.</li><li>Knowledge of Power BI and Raiser’s Edge would be considered an asset.</li><li>Experience working in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment and a demonstrated ability to manage confidential information.</li></ul> Competencies and Knowledge <ul><li>Strong organizational skills with sharp attention to detail.</li><li>Proven ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.</li><li>Critical thinker with strong analytical and decision-making capabilities.</li><li>Self-directed and proactive, able to manage projects and prioritize tasks independently.</li><li>Skilled in project management, with a track record of driving initiatives from concept to completion.</li><li>Strategic mindset with adaptability to shifting priorities and challenges.</li><li>Excellent communicator and collaborator, able to build effective working relationships across teams.</li></ul> COMPENSATIONAn excellent compensation package awaits the successful candidate.
