<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p><p></p><p>Our client in the Power Engineering sector is seeking to recruit an SEL RTAC Programmer for a short-term project.<br /></p><p><br /></p><p><b>Position Overview:</b><br /></p><p><b></b><br /></p><p> The SEL RTAC Programmer is responsible for the configuration, programming, testing, and commissioning of Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) RTAC devices and related automation systems in utility and industrial applications. This role involves working closely with project teams, clients, and field technicians to ensure reliable and efficient system performance.<br /></p><p></p><p><b>Key Responsibilities:</b><br /></p><ul><li>Configure and program SEL RTAC devices for protection, automation, and control applications.<br /></li><li>Develop and maintain logic, settings, and schemes in accordance with project requirements.<br /></li><li>Perform testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning of RTAC-based systems at both office and field locations.<br /></li><li>Collaborate with engineering teams to design and implement communication schemes (DNP3, Modbus, IEC protocols) for SCADA integration.<br /></li><li>Provide technical support to field technicians and clients during installation and start-up.<br /></li><li>Maintain accurate documentation, including settings files, schematics, test reports, and project records.<br /></li><li>Participate in project planning, design reviews, and client meetings as required.<br /></li><li>Ensure compliance with industry standards, utility requirements, and safety protocols.<br /></li></ul><p><b>Qualifications & Skills:</b><br /></p><ul><li>Strong understanding of substation automation, relay logic, and protection schemes.<br /></li><li>Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, one-line diagrams, and technical specifications.<br /></li><li>Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.<br /></li><li>Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.<br /></li></ul><p><br /></p></p></p>Create Your Resume First
