<h3>What will your typical day look like?</h3>
<p>As a Senior consultant, you will:</p>
<ul>
<li>Build and maintain detailed financial models, while guiding team members in developing robust modeling and analytical capabilities.</li>
<li>Provide advisory support on capital structure optimization, financing options analysis, credit rating considerations, and liquidity management strategies.</li>
<li>Present insights and recommendations to senior management and boards, translating complex financial and strategic concepts into clear, actionable advice.</li>
<li>Mentor junior team members on both technical competencies (financial modeling, covenant analysis, analytics) and professional skills (presentation, client communication, report writing).</li>
<li>Support business development initiatives by contributing to thought leadership pieces, market insights, and other business development activities.</li>
<li>Actively contribute to a collaborative team environment, supporting both project delivery and the broader objectives of Deloitte’s Capital Advisory practice.</li>
<li>Lead key components of capital raising initiatives (debt, mezzanine, and equity), including strategic assessment, transaction preparation, marketing, and negotiation support.</li>
</ul>
<h3>About the team</h3>
<p>Maximizing shareholder value requires the strategic deployment of the appropriate form and amount of capital. Our corporate finance professionals enhance value through the delivery of strategic advice and execution services to corporations, financial institutions and public sector clients who are seeking value-enhancing solutions that complement their growth strategies.</p>
<p>We work actively with private equity, banks and other investors and lenders to arrange financings and complete transactions for clients.</p>
<p>Our strategic advisory services include analysis and development of:</p>
<p>Optimal capital structures and financing options for companies at all stages of their capital life cycle;</p>
<p>Value realization programs including: re-financings, leverage buyouts, restructurings, recapitalizations andgrowth capital initiatives</p>
<p>Project bid assistance.</p>
<p>Transaction execution services include raising all forms of long-term financing, including senior debt, mezzanine and subordinated debt, and minority private equity financing.</p>

<p>Qualifications:</p>
<p>Completed undergraduate degree with outstanding academic credentials;</p>
<p>Completion or progression toward a finance or accounting designation (CPA, MBA, CBV or CFA)</p>
<p>At least three years of relevant experience working with corporates to access the capital markets (debt,mezzanine and equity);</p>
<p>At least one year of relevant experience in the Canadian capital markets;</p>
<p>Strong commitment to professional client service excellence;</p>
<p>Excellent interpersonal relations and demonstrated ability to work with others effectively, and lead teams;</p>
<p>Superior verbal and written communication skills;</p>
<p>Ability to develop and present new ideas and conceptualize new approaches and solutions;</p>
<p>Proven analytical, modelling skills and systematic problem solving;</p>
