This job gives you the opportunity to have a positive impact on our organization through your expertise in IFRS, your leadership with accounting teams, and your ability to improve processes in a constantly evolving environment.Your Job Ensure accurate and timely financial closes for key subsidiaries.Lead a team of finance professionals and oversee the execution of daily and monthly accounting transactions.Perform variance analysis to validate the reliability of financial information.Support integration of Canadian Western Bank systems into National Bank processes.Supervise account reconciliations and ensure compliance with internal control procedures.Identify opportunities for improvement, simplify processes, and leverage technology and automation.Contribute to special projects and support system integration in collaboration with various teams.Your TeamWithin the Accounting sector, you are part of a team of colleagues based in Edmonton and across the country, reporting to the Associate Vice-President, Accounting.
