<p>We are looking for an expert Senior Project Manager with a minimum of 7 years post-graduate experience looking for the next step or are currently undertaking a similar role in a similar environment. You will be required to be fully on-site, 4 to 5 days a week. This posting reflects an existing vacancy that we are actively hiring for.</p>
<h3>Job Description</h3>
<p><b>As Senior Project Manager, you will:</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Assistthe design and construction process including submittal and RFI process and understand how to work with the City on processing Site Applications and all require Permitting</li>
<li>Transcribe meeting minutes and action items and drive each item to closure.</li>
<li>Ensure project compliance with client’s document controls and file specifications.</li>
<li>Administer project closeout specifications and associated turnover documentation.
</li><li>Regular collaboration and coordination is required with internal resources and design build contractors.</li>
<li>Submittal approval management</li>
<li>Understand, implement, monitor and seek approval for all Change Management documentation.</li>
<li>RFI processing</li>
<li>Change order management</li>
<li>Meeting coordination</li>
<li>Punch-list management</li>
<li>Administration of project observation reports</li>
<li>Participation in commissioning</li>
<li>Transition of close-out documentation to operations</li>
<li>Possess the ability to establish and manage all project budgets and schedules throughout the project duration.</li>
<li>Managing the requirements to deal with all other Authorities Having Jurisdiction (City, MOE, MOL, TSSA, etc…) and comply with all require code demands</li>
</ul>
<h3>Qualifications</h3>
<p>Qualifications</p>
<ul>
<li>A minimum of 7years of experience as a Project Managerin assisting or supervising construction projects of increasing complexity required.</li>
<li>Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a similar field</li>
<li><b>PMP certification</b> that allows you to work on projects from project initiation to project closeout and completion</li>
<li>Ability to manage staff, client and all team members effectively</li>
<li>Ability to work with all related construction contracts (ie) CCDC2, CCDC3, CCDC5A and 5B.</li>
<li>Possess an understanding of all building and construction code requirements to manage the construction of the project</li>
<li>Possess the ability to negotiate with consultants and contractors alike, contractually and administratively as the project progresses.</li>
<li>Experience as Owners representative and Trusted Advisor is an asset</li>
<li>Ground up construction experience</li>
<li>Schedule Management is an asset</li>
<li>Proficient in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, & Project or P6.</li>
<li>Great communication skills with various stakeholders</li>
</ul>
<p>The base salary range for this full-time role is <b>$95,000 - $145,000</b> per year. Ranges are determined by role and level and represent a good faith effort to provide a fair and equitable salary. This range is a reflection of base salary only, not of a total compensation package. Please note Turner & Townsend reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range, depending on candidate’s experience and qualifications.</p>
