We hire <b>“A” Players</b>—people who are self-motivated, resourceful, and thrive when given responsibility.</p><h3><b>Role Overview</b></h3><p>Reporting to the Field Operations Manager, the Site Superintendent is responsible for executing the concrete scope of assigned projects safely, on time, and within budget. This includes supervising employees, sub-contractors, and suppliers, while ensuring high standards of quality, safety, and client satisfaction.</p><h3><b>Key Responsibilities</b></h3><ul><li>Lead day-to-day site activities and supervise workers, sub-contractors, and site visitors</li><li>Manage project schedules and resources to ensure milestones are met</li><li>Coordinate construction activities with prime contractors and trade partners</li><li>Provide leadership and development for Pagnotta employees, including performance reviews and training</li><li>Enforce company and legislative safety policies and procedures</li><li>Conduct inspections, quality control, and ensure compliance with drawings and specifications</li><li>Support hiring efforts by interviewing potential new site employees</li><li>Oversee the use and maintenance of company equipment and tools</li></ul><h3><b>Qualifications</b></h3><ul><li>Red Seal trade certification (carpentry preferred)</li><li>Gold Seal Certification (asset)</li><li>10+ years of on-site construction experience, specializing in <b>formwork concrete</b> for commercial, high-rise, mixed-use, or institutional projects</li><li>3+ years of leadership experience as a superintendent or foreman</li><li>Strong knowledge of OH&S regulations and employment standards legislation</li><li>Proficient in reading structural, architectural, civil, and mechanical drawings</li><li>Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills</li></ul><h3><b>Working Conditions</b></h3><p>Standard 40 hours/week, with overtime and weekend work as required</p><p>Work at heights will be required</p><p><b>Pagnotta Inc. is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.</b> We thank all applicants for their interest; however, only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.</p></p>#J-18808-Ljbffr
