Position Summary
We are seeking a seasoned Superintendent with over 10 years of experience, ideally in ICI construction, to lead and manage field operations for large-scale projects. The ideal candidate is customer-service oriented, detail-driven, and comfortable operating in a structured, process-driven environment, similar to that of a manufacturing facility.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily construction activities on-site, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and to spec
Collaborate with Project Managers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure smooth project execution
Enforce and promote Health & Safety policies in accordance with company and regulatory standards
Manage site documentation, including daily reports, safety logs, quality control records, and schedules
Monitor project milestones and proactively identify and resolve issues to avoid delays
Lead site meetings and coordinate trades to maintain workflow and schedule adherence
Represent the company professionally with clients, consultants, and municipal authorities
Qualifications
10+ years of experience as a Superintendent, preferably on large ICI projects
Strong understanding of construction processes, drawings, and specifications
Proven ability to manage multiple trades and site operations efficiently
Exceptional communication and client service skills
Advanced proficiency with construction software and documentation systems
Demonstrated success working in structured environments, such as manufacturing-style settings
In-depth knowledge of OHSA and best practices in Health & Safety
Must be based in the Greater Toronto Area and available for full-time site presence
