Veterinarian

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinarian to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to animal welfare and provide high-quality medical care to pets and livestock. You will work in a collaborative environment, utilizing your expertise in veterinary medicine to diagnose and treat a variety of conditions while promoting preventative care.

Responsibilities
Conduct thorough examinations of animals to assess their health and diagnose any medical conditions.
Develop and implement treatment plans, including administering medications, vaccinations, and performing surgeries as necessary.
Utilize laboratory techniques for diagnostic testing and interpret results to guide treatment decisions.
Educate pet owners on animal care, nutrition, and preventative health measures.
Maintain accurate medical records for all patients, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
Stay current with advancements in veterinary medicine through continuous education and professional development.

Qualifications
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited veterinary school.
Valid veterinary license in B.C.
Strong clinical skills with experience in laboratory procedures preferred.
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
Compassionate approach towards animals and their owners, demonstrating empathy and understanding.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $95,000.00-$150,000.00 per year
