<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p><p><strong>Warehouse Worker – On-Call / Short-Term</strong></p><p><br /></p><p><strong>Position Overview</strong></p><p>We are seeking dependable and detail-oriented Warehouse Workers for on-call, short-term assignments in Richmond Hill. This position requires flexibility and the ability to be available on short notice. Consistent attendance and reliability are essential, as last-minute cancellations cannot be accommodated.</p><p><br /></p><p><strong>Location:</strong> Highway 7 and Leslie Street, Richmond Hill, Ontario<br /><strong>Pay Rate:</strong> $18.00 per hour<br /><strong>Hours:</strong> 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (on-call basis) </p><p><br /></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Inspect products inside boxes to ensure quality and accuracy</li><li>Lift and move boxes up to twenty pounds independently</li><li>Team-lift heavier boxes, up to one hundred pounds, with a partner when required</li><li>Verify product labels and ensure items are returned to proper locations after inspection</li><li>Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace</li><li>Follow instructions carefully and meet daily productivity targets</li></ul><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>Available for one to three days of on-call work, with potential for extension</li><li>Able to lift and carry 20 lbs safely, with assistance for heavier items that are 100lbs</li><li>Must have reliable transportation to the Highway 7 and Leslie area</li><li>Before applying, confirm that you can reach this location</li><li>Public transit is limited; a car is strongly preferred</li><li>We cannot accept last-minute cancellations due to transportation issues</li><li>Must be detail-oriented with excellent attention to detail</li><li>Previous experience in inventory or quality control is required, no exceptions</li><li>CSA-approved safety shoes required</li><li>Dependable, punctual, and able to follow instructions accurately</li><li>Experience using a manual pump truck is an advantage</li></ul><p><strong>Additional Details</strong></p><ul><li>On-call schedule typically includes one day per week, with potential for extension depending on workload – dates are generally provided a day or 2 beforehand </li><li>MUST HAVE RELIABLE TRANSPORT</li></ul></p></p>
