Fraudulent Job Posting Policy

Our Commitment

At Govtjobs.ca, we are committed to maintaining a safe and trustworthy job board. We strictly prohibit fraudulent job postings and have implemented measures to detect, prevent, and remove them in compliance with the Ontario ESA.

Reporting Mechanism

If you suspect a job posting is fraudulent, you can report it immediately by:

  • Clicking "Report Fraudulent Job Posting" inside the "Apply Now" popup on any job page.
  • Contacting us directly via our Contact Form.

Record Retention & Handling

We review all reports within 48 hours. If confirmed fraudulent, the listing is removed and the employer banned. We retain records of these policies and actions for a minimum of 3 years as required by law.
