Job Description

What you’ll do:



  • Effectively negotiate repayment solutions for customers experiencing financial setbacks while focusing on retention.

  • Be a part of a high performing team and strive to exceed individual daily and monthly targets.

  • Use your exceptional decision‑making skills on accepting, rejecting, or offering amended payment terms and settlements – you’re a solution finder.

  • Promptly respond to inquiries and diffuse difficult situations, turning potentially negative experiences into positive ones.

  • Juggle multiple files simultaneously, keeping detailed and accurate records. Multitasking is a must.

  • Fully accountable for collections related member questions or concerns – you’re totally organized and knowledgeable about policies and procedures.

  • Monitor and resolve payment related discrepancies.

  • Act as a brand ambassador for Mogo, regularly using our suite of products, sharing the brand with friends and family, and providing feedback to the team for improvements.


What you’ll need:



  • To be mission driven, self‑motivated.

  • To maintain focus and ruthlessly prioritize your core job responsibilities.

  • At least 1+ years of experience working in collections/AR, first or third party.

  • Experience working in a high volume, performance driven (KPI/Target based) contact centre is plus!

  • Comfortable using MS Office (Word, Outlook, and Excel), as well as Windows operating systems.

  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills (you’re incredibly persuasive!).

  • Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.

  • Committed to going above and beyond to find solutions for customers.

  • Passionate about personal finance and helping people make positive financial decisions.

  • Reliable internet and ability to work from home (we provide computer, monitor, phone etc.).
