Base pay range: CA$55,000.00/yr - CA$60,000.00/yr


Our client, a Tier 1 Automotive Supplier, is looking for an experienced AP/AR Specialist to join their team in New Market Ontario.


This position is a full‑time, on‑location 5 days/week role with a base salary of $55,000–$60,000 per year.


Responsibilities



  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with vendors and customers

  • Perform data entry tasks to maintain accurate financial records and update customer files

  • Conduct account analysis and reconciliation to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.

  • Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports.

  • Process accounts payable and receivable transactions in a timely manner.

  • Review past‑due accounts and follow‑up with customers

  • Support month‑end closing activities by preparing necessary documentation and reports.

  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve discrepancies and provide financial insights.

  • Maintain organized records of all financial transactions for easy retrieval.

  • Answer, investigate, and escalate as necessary, customer and vendor inquiries


Experience



  • A post‑secondary degree or diploma in accounting, finance, or related field.

  • 2–3 years general accounting experience, with a heavy focus on AP/AR.

  • Strong working knowledge of Canadian GAAP.

  • Advanced Microsoft Office Suite knowledge, specifically with Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, complex formulas and functions).

  • Epicor or related ERP experience.
